Ephesians 6:6-8, “Work hard, but not just to please your masters when they are watching. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.” (NLT) This was our verse from morning devotion that we took to heart and mind as we went into our second day (Wednesday) of VBS. We are working for the Lord—not for people, or ourselves, but for the Lord.
Today was the first day of VBS at Rochester Baptist Church.
Hello to all of you! God is so good and blessed us with a safe journey to Rochester. We have arrived at our hotel and are getting ready to go meet the pastor of the church we are serving. A journey with two SUV-loads of girls, Richard, and their stuff, however, cannot possibly be complete without some kind of incident though, can it?
Winding Down, Gearing Up? Not sure which phrase is better suited right now...maybe freaking out? No, not freaking out. Our planning for Rochester is winding down, but our excitement, faith, and hope are gearing up.
