Hello everyone!  Thank you so much for your prayers. We are glad to say we have arrived safely, though it was an adventure.  We arrived yesterday afternoon, the flight was fine, no problems.  The trip to get to our location, well that is another story.  It started with a decision to not get the gps at the car rental place, there was confidence we would get there alright...5 hours later we are still asking for directions.  Ha, it really was not that bad, we even found a nice restaurant to stop at on the way.  We knew that we had to go over a mountain, eventually our journey led to this, though we were not sure if it was the right mountain, but we decided to keep going.  Then the adventure started. Turns out the road we were on is not recommended to drive on, being that it is more like a one lane road than two, but cars drive both ways, making the thousand foot drop to our right even more terrifying when a car passed us.  For awhile we enjoyed looking out the window, at the one foot of pavement between us and thousands of feet of drop.  To make matters worse- we drove into the fog, actually it was a cloud, we were just that high up.  So now we have a one lane road, huge cliffs to our right, and fog.  Our expected adventure in Costa Rica has started.  Though we made jokes, it was a trip, lets just say we also did alot of praying.  Thank God we made it.  Only after the trip did we hear that the road was thought to be closed after the earthquake, and not to many people drive on it anymore.  That was yesterday.

So today started at 6 in the morning, earlier than most of usually wake up, but were in Costa Rica and that is what they do.  After our early start we headed to the town hall to paint.  It was bigger than expected, but after one day we are making good progess and we are thankful for the opportunity to serve.

There is plenty more to share but that will have to wait.  The trip is going well, the food is great, the country is beautiful, and of course God is magificent!  God Bless
